Job Description : FRIDA: Firmwide Risk Identification Database & Analytics (FRIDA) is the technology platform used for the Risk Identification Process across all of JP Morgan. The platform captures and monitors the Firmwide Material Risk Inventory (MRI) which includes the most material risks for the firm.
As the technology lead of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You’ll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Software development using Java, J2EE, Web Services/SOA and used Java frameworks – Spring, Spring-boot, Hibernate, REST, Front end technologies like – Angular, Node or React
Experience leading technical teams in design and development, Ability to lead and collaborate global team and projects.
Good understanding of architecture, design and best practices
Experience with Source Code management techniques/tools ( like GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins )
Experience with development / deployment of cloud native applications (experience with AWS is a plus)
Experience with DB Design is a plus
