Directs and manages a team of software engineers and architects responsible for the development and/or validation of software for a specific Intel product segment or technology over multiple areas of the software lifecycle, including design, development, validation, debug, optimization, customer engagement, and/or product support. Oversees the development of software across multiple layers of the stack including firmware, drivers, operating systems, software applications and tools, infrastructure, and platforms. Provides direction and goals to the group to ensure efficient operation and sound engineering practices are followed and interacts with stakeholders internal and/or external to Intel. Sets priorities for the team, achieves results across boundaries, ensures an inclusive work environment, develops employees, and manages performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team who are in midst of transforming enterprise solutions as part of Rebate Automation and Customer Agreements program.
As a Software Engineering Manager , you will own the solution delivery and manage a team responsible for delivering solutions.
He/she will set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
You will be responsible for supervision/management of day-to-day functional management of the organization, to include performance management, training/developing, forecasting/reporting, and budgeting/expense
control.
Proven track record in working with geographically distributed teams across various time zones
and organizational boundaries to drive solutions
He/She will manage a team of software professionals including but not limited to Developers, Systems Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners , Program Managers who are responsible for delivering results over many areas of the software delivery lifecycle: design, developing, test, tech debt reduction , customer engagement/trainings and product support with a solid track record in planning and execution of products.
May also be required to provide architectural and technical guidance and ensure that sound Software engineering and delivery practices are followed.
Strong SW professional with at least 10+ years of experience working on Enterprise SW projects with cross-functional, cross geo teams and At least 3 years of experience managing SW teams.
Enterprise Software Platforms/Ecosystem : SAP & Vistex , Salesforce, Adobe AEM, Full/MEAN Stack, Cloud platform: AWS , Azure etc
Working knowledge of DevOps tools & Accelerators and experience delivering complex devops projects and working across multiple engineering product lines.
Great interpersonal skills, with the ability and desire to create and uphold a large, productive professional network.
Strong PM skill. Able to oversee multiple software engineering projects to make sure quality and schedule meets and exceeds customer expectation.
Experience implementing DevOps paradigms and Agile principles.
Good understanding of SW development methodologies, engineering tradeoffs, and prioritization.
Experience in defining and building Automation Framework in an ERP implementation, one who can provide directions in defining overall Testing Strategy for Functional, Regression, UAT and Performance is highly preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of experience with Enterprise Software development.
