The breadth of capabilities within the Technology team at the GSC enables it to support the firm in leading edge areas such as Digital, Big data analytics, Robotics & Machine Learning.
Roles & Responsibility:
Newly created role as an Application Development Lead (Job Title: Vice President) within Asset Management SMA (Separately Managed Account) team in Bangalore, you will participate in all facets of the software development cycle. This includes design, analysis, development, coding, testing and documentation. You will partner closely with business partners and the broader Asset Management technology team. You will ensure your work products adhere to coding, architectural, and security standards as defined throughout Asset Management. A successful candidate must have relevant User Interface (UI) and server-side development experience.
Strong technologist with experience in working on UI, backend and middleware technologies
Adhering to processes, audits and collecting/providing metrics
Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs
Utilize agile methodologies and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations
Work closely with clients to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes
Process (build, deployment, testing) automation maintain and improve project metrics as per organization requirements
Research and evaluate solutions and make recommendations
Cloud deployment
Integration with other systems

Qualifications:
10+ years of solid software development work experience
Strong development background in Web UI technologies (React)
Solid experience in Core Java, J2EE technologies, Spring , REST Services , Micro-services design pattern, Spring Boot, Cloud native design principles
Experienced on Python
Experience in Software design and solutions
Effective oral and written communication skills
Expert problem solving and analytic skills
Buy-side Front office development experience is huge plus
