Analyst role is within the Global Web Solutions (GWS) team of the Enterprise Marketing Platforms & Solutions (EMPS) organization of American Express. EMPS was formed to support business units across the enterprise and sits within the Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions group (EDDS).The Global Web Solutions team manages home page, acquisition & loyalty marketing related content and digital marketing asset updates on existing web pages of Americanexpress.com. This function closely works with the web development teams and supports optimizing the American Express website and the design and implementation of customer experiences which drive profitable Card acquisition for the Consumer and Commercial products. The Sr. Analyst will be primarily responsible for running the day to day operations of the GWS work, and support the leader in ensuring flawless execution, operational consultation, and delivering process efficiencies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting Marketing, Product and other internal partners in multi-channel online campaigns, translating business needs to Technologies, and providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) consultations.
Responsibilities:
Support the day to day operations of the online marketing campaign launches & delivery processes, including on-time delivery, rush requests scheduling, audit support and training.
Involve in content build needs, as needed and project manage end to end needs of the markets
Ensure all AEM based Content Management System(CMS) content solutions deliver best in class experiences, in line with Design, UX and SEO strategy and principles
Provide GWS technical & process consultation to Marketing and all key stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between Marketing and Technology teams – translate business needs to our technology partners and explain capability/platform functionality to Marketing.
Support Audit, Training, process documentation, volume forecasting and reporting needs.
Participate in business driven projects as Subject Matter Experts of the tool/platform and perform user acceptance training/testing as needed.
Ancillary responsibilities include supporting other Marketing Capabilities and future capabilities as needed.
Support the leader in all relevant activities.
Qualifications:
Digital content management and / or web product design experience (3+ years)
Good awareness of SEO & UX principles, web standards and accessibility guidelines – WCAG 2.0 & W3C
Strong organisational skills – detail oriented and ability to juggle and drive results across multiple projects to deadlines
Strong communication (both written and verbal) – ability to liaise and collaborate with stakeholders, understand needs and influence them towards the right solution.
Ability to feel comfortable in a changing environment – able to adapt / flex approach according to needs
Fast learner, with ability to use own initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude towards problem solving and decision making
Ability to flex working across multiple time zones when required
Experience using Adobe Experience Manager
