We are seeking an experienced professional to develop data-based decision making solutions to accelerate Pricing automation and deliver business value. You will focus on delivering analytically driven insights that improve our commercial focus and performance. You will also be an active leader in advancing our digital transformation efforts and this will include building innovative reports, dashboards and/or visualizations, and data mashups utilizing disparate data sets that improve our business intelligence and decision-making capabilities.
You will work with IT and Business professionals to accelerate pricing automation efforts, maintain the day-to-day operation of core areas of IT, ensure the stability of the technical baseline for all projects.You will use your knowledge and experience to generate automated solutions to complex problems in area of pricing analytics, administration, setting price policies, improving profitability and tracking of price performance.
As a Lead Data Engineer – Pricing, you will be part of a team that delivers contemporary analytics solutions for the Global Pricing function at Honeywell
Work multi-functionally to drive the strategic direction for commercial data governance, improve master data quality capabilities throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of Pricing Automation; leading projects including identification of critical data elements and rules definitions, and product data quality governance.
JOB ACTIVITY
Work with SBG pricing and IT colleagues to develop models and tools
Develop data modeling, data visualization solutions to address pricing needs
Work closely with application architects to integrate results into commercial platforms
Track and report pocket price leakage
Must have
Analytical skills and more specifically being able to connect disparate information (data from different sources,
processes, people, etc)
Experience in building advanced analytics solutions with data from enterprise systems like ERP (SAP/ Oracle),
CRM (SFDC), Pricing tools (PROS), CPQ tools etc in Snowflake
ERP systems; experience with SAP and/or Oracle pulling queries and analyzing data
Investigate, recommend and implement integration solutions to streamline data process and ensure data consistency
across systems (ERP; any other pricing system)
Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills
Strong communications skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or
related field
A minimum of 3 years experience in data modeling, data mining and/or segmentation techniques
Data wareshouse experience with mix of implementation and support using Snowflake & Informatica.
Strong Data wareshouing concepts, knowledge and/or experience with reporting packages
(Business Objects, Tableau etc.), databases (SQL, etc.)
Working experience with Big Data, SQL, Azure, AWS etc.
Demonstrated ability to lead large transformational projects working with multiple function
Skilled in queries, report writing and presenting findings
