Job Description
Visa Risk Manager team is looking for curious, creative, talented technologists to join our team. You will be developing solutions that automate the release cycle from code checking to deployment. Your solution will focus on ‘No’ wait times, manual handoffs, automating as much as possible to better the overall efficiency, ensuring reliability of our release /deployment processes. We are looking for someone with strong interest in DevOps/Test Automation, passion for continuously delivering reliable software. You will work with other Development engineers to design/implement Continuous Integration, Test Automation tools, FWs that are important in ensuring delivery of products with the highest levels of quality and reliability. This is considered a mid-level position. Your main focus will be on DevOps/Test Automation tasks however other tasks will be assigned depending on need such as maintaining security compliance/remediating vulnerabilities. You will always be working on ways to facilitate solutions for security vulnerabilities found on applications. This role is for an individual whose experience forms a strong basis for designing automated test solutions that will ensure that we deliver high quality services. You will have a passion on how the solutions work from a functional standpoint, but also for get into the code to really understand what has been built to verify that the solution meets quality standards of functional / security requirements.
Essential Functions:
Maintain security/compliance of applications
Ensure all security findings are security compliant, completed
Collaborate with Database engineers, cybersecurity, other engineers to remediate security vulnerabilities.
Track/coordinate all required systems/security maintenance updates.
Work with technology partners in security to create, maintain system.
Ensure all remediation is successfully implemented, compliance is maintained.
Create tickets/JIRA for supporting teams to perform your tasks, track them to completion
Co-ordination with various support groups for solving security findings.
Able to track offshore teams compliance, follow up where help is needed.
Communicate to onshore on immediate needs and updates.
Designing, maintaining, streamlining of continuous Delivery solutions for CICD pipeline setup of one click build deployments
Automate testing, deploying releases to all stages.
Work directly with Application Development teams to provide daily support aligned with a model of Continuous Delivery
Ensure continuous availability of various tools supporting SCM/Release Management including Source Control, Continuous Integration, Change Management.
Maintaining source control branches, performing integrations with merge conflicts.
Enabling the quick resolution to things found during the daily build and large deployment efforts.
Creating/maintaining documentation of the build/release process.
Investigating tools/processes, integrating them so that they can better the reliability, stability, efficiency.
Align with the development team to integrate upcoming deployment processes to meet requirements.
Design/build/extend Test Automation FW, Test utilizing latest technologies, variety of languages.
Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules
Identify data needs/scenarios for Integration testing, E2E testing including areas such as database effects, software scenarios, logging capabilities or usability.
Design/write test cases, automation, report test results to development/product teams.
Collaborate on developing test automation utilities to make project testing more effective, efficient
Develop extend existing Build/Test Automation tools, FWs as needed to make projects provide complete Continuous Integration Setup.
Have a good understanding of requirements, test coverage.
Become an expert at finding bugs, helping development fix the bug, improve the automated test, do it over and over again.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2-8 years of software development experience with Bachelors degree in computer science
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of Experience in one programming language or technology including/not limited to Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, others.2+ years of Experience with source control, build/deployment tools such as Jenkins, Subversion, Maven, Hudson, Git, Chef, Ansible.2+ years of Experience with DevOps tools/automation FW to build CICD.2+ years of Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Unix Shell, Perl, Groovy2 + years of Experience of learning tools/technologies/research.Knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes for container solutions implementation.Knowledge in monitoring tools like OPNET, SPLUNK, any other tools.Knowledge of test automation /FWs such as Karate, Cucumber, Ruby, Selenium, Robot.Knowledge of web services standards, related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, REST).Knowledge of database query tools, ability to write/run SQL queries for data validation.Candidate must be able to multi-task, be able to work independently or in a team setup.Strong analytical/problem solving skills, attention to information.Effective verbal/written communication/documentation skills.
