Job Description
This role will be closely working with the US/India team and clients for Automation Engineering Projects.
Responsibilities
Analysis, design, Development and implementation of software solutions to support the Automation engineering projects
Understand and contribute to TSO automation platform with good analytical and integration capabilities
Communicate effectively within the US/India team and the clients
Adaptability and quick learning capabilities for the changing technologies
A self-learner with willingness to take responsibilities and drive the assigned tasks with minimal directions
Requirements
Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications, If Any: ITIL Foundations certified or higher (Not Mandatory)
Experience Range: 06 – 09 years
Foundational skills:
BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Python Developer, Automation, DevOps/Ansible, Linux Systems Admin, BASH
3-5 years of Software Development experience with Automation and DevOps focus
Proficient in scripting and programming languages, including Bash, Python (Golang & Java a big plus)
Ability to develop scripts to use REST, JSON, or similar protocols
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux and network fundamentals
Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Experience managing large numbers of diverse systems with configuration management systems like: Ansible (preferred), Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt
Discusses results with team colleagues and internal customer if needed
Responsible for automating server setup & configurations across a distributed infrastructure
Develop & support python / bash shell resources Scripting and automation of manual processes.
Auditing of existing scripts to make them more optimized and improved
Linux administrator knowledge, good system admin skills
Atleast 3-5 years of working experience in Python, Ansible and DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Should be able to drive the technology design meetings, propose technology design and architecture
Should have excellent client communication skills
Should have good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ansible Knowledge would be a plus
Prior experience with at least one of the following topics like: Azure/AWS/GCP
Experience on any Database (preferably Oracle or MSSQL) and OS understanding
Infrastructure-as-code development (Python, Terraform and ARM Templates)
Advanced knowledge in DevOps, Continuous Deployment and testing techniques
Familiar with networking and security concepts (VNet, Subnet, NSG, Load balance etc.)
Knowledge of software development practices like Scrum and Test-Driven Development
