series products include powerful single-chip 4K UHD media processors for TVs, set-top
boxes, and over-the-top (OTT) streaming devices.
Responsibilities:
Synaptics is looking for smart and talented engineers to join our Bangalore engineering
team of IOT Multimedia division. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a large
team around the world working to create revolutionary products. Eligible candidates will
be working on low level device driver for Display/GPU/Camera/HDMI/MIPI as well as
the Media/Camera/Graphics framework of our Android TV based multimedia products.
Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the below areas
o Device drivers (Display/GPU/HDMI/HDCP/MIPI/Audio/Camera)
o Knowledge of functional areas –
Display/GPU/MIPI/HDMI/HDCP/Audio/Camera ISP
o Linux Graphics/Video/Audio subsystem – OpenGL, FB driver, DRMKMS, V4L2, ALSA
o Android TV Graphics/Display/Camera framework
Excellent skills in C/C++ programming.Excellent knowledge of Linux system programming and kernel drivers.Experience in trusted software development in Secure OS/TEE
Good design, programming and problem-solving skills.Bachelors/Master’s degree in CSE/ECE from premier institutions with more than
70% aggregate marks.
5-12 years of relevant industry experience.
