MakersLoft is looking for a young and enterprising team member to grow its after-school programs operations in Bangalore. Ideal candidate should have 3-5 years experience. This role has a fast track career path within MakersLoft – compensation, responsibilities and position wise. Candidates will obviously need to prove themselves on the job.
Location: Marathalli, Whitefield, Bangalore 560066
Responsibilities:
Running training programs, summer camps and workshops in key apartment complexes and activity centres
Speaking to parents and convincing them to enrol their children (ages 2-12 years) to attend MakersLoft’s after-school programs – both online and offline.
Handling enquiries from parents and partners, making cold calls. Visiting complexes and centres.
Generating high quality leads and converting them for both offline and online programs. Managing customer database.
Running campaigns to acquire customers for summer camps, workshops etc.
Ensure the profitability of training operations and achieve sales targets.
Coordinating with teachers to ensure customer satisfaction
Be the primary point of contact for partners for fees collection, promotional activities, handling issues etc.
Partnering with schools and other institutes
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience of achieving sales targets
Ideal candidate would have at least 3-5 years prior experience of working in an after-school activity centres / training institute / pre-school
Education industry work experience is a big plus
Excellent communication skills, ability to persuade and negotiate
There will be a fair amount of travel within the city to visit multiple centres across the city regularly, meet with schools, parents etc.

STEM Teacher NEW!
MakersLoft is looking for experienced teachers who can teach Science & technology in a fun and practical way through hands-on experiments using world-class STEM kits and platform.
Location: Thubrahalli, Whitefield, Bangalore 560066
Responsibilities: Teach STEM and robotics to students of grades 2-5 using STEM kits. Classes will be held online or in activity centres / schools across Bangalore Conduct workshops, summer camps and competitions Conduct students’ assessment and give feedback to parents Assist in educational events and activities Counsel students and parents about courses of MakersLoft Assist in developing and improving curriculum and course content
Training will be provided on the STEM kits, curriculum, content, pedagogy and processes that will be used to teach students.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience
Preferred: Engineering / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics. Other science stream can also apply.
Experienced in conducting hands-on science experiments and teaching in a practical, fun and playful manner
Should be able to engage children and make learning an enjoyable experience
Excellent English communication skills and interpersonal skills – should be able to establish good rapport with children and parents
Computer proficiency and tech savvy is required.
