Job Description : ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED COMPLEX CARE SUPPORT WORKER WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOUR AND A PASSION FOR SUPPORTING OTHERS?
New Horizons Care are currently seeking female support workers to assist our client (based in Braunstone area of Leicestershire) who has clinically complex care needs, to ensure her care needs are met. Support is provided within a welcoming family home in a quiet residential area. You would be joining an established and friendly team. Applicants should be tolerant of working within a smoking household with pets.
Our client is a lovely young woman who lives at home with her family, inlcuding their pet dog. She is non-verbal and has complex clinical care needs; permanent tracheotomy and a gastrostomy tube for entral feeding. She loves taking her dog out for walks in the community and getting involved in her favourite activities.
We are recruiting for a team member to join her extablished care team. We are recruiting for waking night staff on a part time basis. You will join a rolling rota and be able to commit to alternate weekend working.
Her care team are responsible for management of her complex health conditions, ensuring her needs are met in a timely way, providing reassurance as required. Full and comprehensive training will be provided; however, the right candidate would have experience of supporting clients with complex care needs and learning disabilities.

Waking night shifts:
22:00-08:00
We ask that any applicant would be available to commit to alternate weekend working .
