Provision Infrastructure as a service cloud computing for platforms such as AWS.
Data center and server installation, maintenance, monitoring in Cloud/IAAS

Role and responsibilities

Responsible for handling escalated incidents and High Availability environment incident Management on LINUX Platform
Responsible for handling CISCO UCS Physical servers
Problem Management on LINUX Platform.
Proficient in ticketing tools like Service Now
Change Management: Prepare Implementation, back out and test plan for Change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
Provisioning of new servers as and when required
Should have knowledge about VDI environment.
Capacity management (Out of disk/Memory/CPU related issues)
Must be comfortable for 24*7 shift environment Work as L2 resource in AWS Cloud infrastructure and system administration team providing technical support and resolving issues.
Provision Infrastructure as a service cloud computing for platforms such as AWS.
Data center and server installation, maintenance, monitoring in Cloud/IAAS.
Responsible for Linux and windows server Installation, Maintenance, Monitoring & Patching on IAAS.
Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.

Primary skills

Linux server administration skills across RHEL6,7 operating systems
Significant experience with Disk Management, File Permissions, NFS, Application servers
Technical understanding of Package Installation & Server patching using tools.
Experience with Physical servers
Knowledge of VM build, Template.
In-depth knowledge of LVM/VG/PV and troubleshooting skills
OS performance checks & troubleshooting performance issue

Nice-to-have skills

Basic knowledge of Spacewalk
Should have good knowledge on monitoring system like Science Logic, New Relic.
Knowledge of storage architecture and connectivity option such as ISCSI, FC.
Working knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident / Change / Problem Management

Required Qualifications

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Ability of adapt any new technical environment with minimal knowledge transfer efforts

Qualifications

B.E./B. Tech/BCA/BSC(IT)

Basic Understanding of docker

AWS Certification is a must.
