As a System Administrator, you will have responsibilities to provide the Windows Level 1 Technical support . You will be the first point of contact for all Windows related initial troubleshooting & triage as well as for infrastructure monitoring. Your tasks will be to work on Windows related incidents and requests, and creation & triage of infrastructure monitoring requests in a fast-paced professional environment. Your job role will also include creation of documents & SOPs for easing recurring tasks & issues.

You will work in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring attendance, quality and customer service metrics are met.

Skills Required:

Should have technical knowledge in windows server operating systems troubleshooting, patching & administration.
Additional knowledge of VMWare is appreciated.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good Exposure to ticketing tools (SNOW,JIRA etc.) & monitoring tools (Zabbix/SCOM/BMC).
Administration of monitoring tools would be good to have skill.
Should have knowledge with file permission and file management task.
Should have basic Active Directory understanding like user management, Group management etc.
Graduate with a relevant 2+ years of Experience in L1 Administration in Windows Servers Environment. Pursued Microsoft Certification course.

Responsibilities

Perform initial level troubleshooting on storage related issues & configurations.
Provide escalation support per request from various sources; investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted parties.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Utilize different monitoring tools and email to monitor IT infrastructure for client.
Install, configure and do regular maintenance of servers on Windows platforms.
Act as Liaison between client and service or hardware provider.
Define, write and maintain documentation on IT infrastructure and best practices of the client.
Participate in rotating schedule and monthly maintenance activities like server patching.
Ability to work 24 x 7 schedule required
