Your Role and Responsibilities
knowledge on Linux Operating systems, Redhat, SuSe and CentOS.Experience in working on Production environment with critical applications running on it.Strong in Unix basics.Experience in other OS Solaris and AIX is an added advantage. Atleast should work on other OS related to patching and regular operations.Good experience in building and managing Linux & Solaris servers and platformGood experience in patching and upgrades both physical and Virtual using manual and automated methods.Experience in Ansible automation to write playbooks for heterogeneous environments.Provide and adhere to security compliance under relevant security policies.Technical certifications on Linux and Ansible would be added advantage.Responsible to handle all IPC activities.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Working with change tools to maintain client SLAs in a continuous effort to and maintain and improve customer satisfaction ratingsComplete ownership of tasks assigned.Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of OS issues with respect to performance, network, storage etcExperience in troubleshooting the file system related issuesShould have worked on monitoring tools and ITIL tools.Experience in User Management, Files system management, Disk Management, Logical Volume management & Process managementNetwork File System. Configuring, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Server and Client Systems enabled with NFS with Auto mount services.Good Linux scripting skills (Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Python) a plusGood interpersonal and communications skills.Perform senior-level Unix System administration
