Job Description : Skill Summary
Technical skills (Required – Mandatory)
Experience with designing and building DB environment along with replication sets, high availability, backup & recovery
Hands-on expertise in installation and configuration of DB
Experience in automating database build / provisioning using shell/ powershell/python/ansible or any other scripting technologies
Experience in building security integrations , performance optimization , capacity planning , maintance of the PostgreSQL DB’s
Define plan and strategy to upgrade, consolidate and migrate largevery large PostgreSQL databases to privatehybrid cloud
Prepare Migration strategies and perform migration of databases including Packages, Procedures, functions and other database objects
Experience in cross platform migrations such as non-Postgre RDBMS to PostgreSQL
Good to have experience migration tools such as Ora2PG or Schema Conversion toolkit from AWS.
Knowledge on tools that enable continuous replication of data from Oracle to PostgreSQL is a plus.
Good to have experience with multiple database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2-UDB and Mongo DB.

Ability to understand and analyze client requirements in Database domain (Administration and Migration) and propose pragmatic solutions
Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for Database
Develop Architecture for Database
Ability to quickly produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing
Train internal teams on the PostgreSQL development skill set and be a single point of contact for our Global Services teams on PostgreSQL development and migration-related assistance
Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards
