An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed food technologist and teacher to relaunch Food Technology at Matthew Moss High School, an academy with an established reputation for providing excellent professional development within a culture of learning and innovation. Matthew Moss High School is an over-subscribed and rapidly- expanding school with a “Good” Ofsted judgement.

The Technology faculty prides itself on providing a creative and innovative experience for all.

Learners at Matthew Moss High School have a desire to express their ideas, thoughts and personalities and the subjects within Technologies provide a fantastic opportunity to do this. We offer a wide choice of subjects which include 3D Design, Art, Computing and Music; a perfect platform for experiences that encourage problem solving, creative thinking, independence, teamwork and composure and ultimately prepares learners for the wider world and beyond.

Moving forward, Food Technology will play an integral role in the progression of the faculty. Learners have a very keen interest in the subject and thoroughly enjoy the practical application. The food curriculum should challenge learners to be creative and innovative with food, to find inspiration from past, present and future food icons and to develop a healthy love of preparing nutritious meals.
