Job Description : Axcis are looking to appoint a teaching assistant for a role in a Manchester based primary school.
The school are looking to appoint a hard working teaching assistant for a full time, long term role in the Manchester based school. The school is based centrally in the Manchester area with links to public transport. The school are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to support pupils who have additional needs and struggle to access the curriculum. The school are hoping to appoint a full time teaching assistant to help manage behaviour in class and you will be expected to work across KS1 & 2.
The role is full time and school hours are 830am – 330pm Monday – Friday and the role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who have some additional needs. The role will start as soon as possible, on a long term basis. The role will require you to support students who can sometimes display challenging behaviours.
The candidate must have some childcare experience, ideally, from within an educational establishment, but this isn’t essential. The candidate should be caring, compassionate, hard working and resilient. The candidate must be available on a full time basis and be seeking a long term role. Pay for this role will start at £12 per hour, but is negotiable dependent on experience.
