Position: Team Co-Lead, Genetics Department

Position Overview:
We are hiring a Masters or PhD in biology, biomedical, life sciences, or relevant fields from recognized institution. The ideal candidate has competency in molecular laboratory techniques. Also, the candidate should possess the willingness to learn and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. He/she must also possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
Previous exposure to ISO13485 or ISO15189 processes will be an advantage. The person will initially be responsible for supervising operations and developments of Genetics Department while keeping good documentation and adhering to our QMS standards.
Key responsibilities
Manage product development lifecycle across departments and identify strategic market opportunities
Establish collaborations with external stakeholders for validation and/or implementation of product lines
Roadmap Genetics Department activities and progression according to projected demands
Envision and conceive research capabilities for developing evidence of validity and utility of products, including Research and Development, Verification and Validation
Communicate with scientific and customer communities concerning capabilities and scientific product offerings
Oversee laboratory workflow and activities to deliver clinical-grade genotyping services
Maintain information security and proper documentation in accordance to QMS and participate in audit for ISO13485 and/or ISO15189
Skills required
Well acquainted with basic molecular biology techniques
Meticulous in delivering and documenting tasks
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Project management in research and development
At least 2 years of experience leading a product development team
Preferred experience
Equipped with knowledge of molecular diagnostics and assay verification, validation and development
Has previously been involved in setting up a molecular diagnostic laboratory
Previous start up or industry experience
Exposed to processed for ISO13485 compliance, PHMC licensing, CAP certification
Minimum education qualification
Masters in biology, biomedical, life sciences, or relevant fields
