Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Ad Operations Specialist that has a passion for digital advertising, data driven platforms and the gaming industry to help us scale a player- first advertising business. You will work collaboratively with an array of top engineers and product professionals to execute exceptional ad experiences that make a meaningful contribution to our games. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the indirect operational processes for indirect waterfall setup/delivery and new product testing/deployment.
Apply for this role if you are a hungry and talented AdOps professional that has fluency with the technologies that make up the mobile media ecosystem, specifically around publisher side capabilities, demand- side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), and tagging technologies.
Responsibilities:
Set up, A/B monetization testing across the portfolio of external systems (GAM,Unity,Facebook) and internal tools, while maintaining a high quality standard to ensure 100% accuracy
Ensure that demand monetization initiatives are launched on time, performance is monitored from the AdOps perspective, and any performance issues are communicated to the demand team in a timely manner.
Check daily reports and provide troubleshooting support for issues relating to fluctuations in spend, tagging, ad quality or partner implementation.
Act as a strategic partner with game and demand teams; provide consultation on monetization test design and correct setup
Collaborate with team members by providing guidance on how to continually improve operational processes, supporting systems and communication channels where needed. Utilize experience to develop solutions, document internal procedures and best practices
Support technical testing and implementation of new programmatic technologies and platforms, including internal proprietary tools
Natural curiosity of how things work and can quickly learn new technologies and tools
Skills to create Thrills:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in AdOps and at least 2 years trafficking programmatic video campaigns in a publisher environment.
Ideally have some some coding and ad tag setup experience, but also have a desire to work with and understand the operations of the business
Expert with leading ad servers especially GAM, local and global advertising eco- system and will have industry knowledge of data management platforms, programmatic systems, analytics and brand safety tools, video technologies, mobile specialisms (e.g. Apps), native providers.
Knowledge of digital advertising regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and business impacts
Knowledge of app development roll- out procedures and project management concepts.
Knowledge of, and willing to give opinion on the advertising market – Digital TV, Display, App, emerging technologies such as VR.
Ability to clearly communicate complex and technical issues to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of audience and data based sales
Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and a motivator.
The ideal candidate will be service oriented and willing to go the extra mile to ensure stakeholders and partners are successful in ad monetization experiences
Education: Bachelor degree preferred.
Bonus Points:
Experience/ A proven track record managing or directly contributing to a live business during a period of rapid growth
