THE ROLE
We are looking for a tech-savvy Technical Content Writer to help us build out a modern documentation infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating accurate, engaging, and user-friendly content that will help accelerate our novice users to power users. You will consult with engineering and technical personnel to prepare technical documentation for our varied audiences. The ideal Technical Content Writer has strong communication and writing skills, and an ability to clearly explain a topic to the end-user based on their persona. We are open to candidates with a background in software engineering or technical writing.
REQUIREMENTS
Tech-savvy: Basic knowhow of APIs
Writing Experience: Able to produce User Guides, Integration Guides, In-App Documentation, Demos, and Technical Overviews
Concept Development and Explanation: Able to convert complex concepts into easily consumable and engaging content
Improvement: Gather regular feedback from customers and internal team to improve the quality of content
Policies and Procedures: Follow the standard writing protocols and conform to our existing writing styles and techniques
Attention to Detail: Deep dive into the intricate details of the product
Time-management: Adapt to the team’s pace and be able to adjust responsibilities, time, and objectives accordingly
Organised: Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work. Highly organised and have the ability to multi-task with little supervision
Proactive: Self-motivated, comfortable working in remote teams, and passionate about learning
Smart: Strong analytical skills and a fast learner
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in CS or related fields
Experience: At least one year of experience as a Technical Content Writer in a SaaS company
