The Digital Connectivity and Power business segment within Process Automation business unit is an authority in Industrial Communication products with the popular brands like Ruggedcom & Scalance. Our products provide a level of robustness and reliability that have set the standard for communications networks deployed in harsh environments. Our brands can be found in mission critical networks used in substation automation, self-healing power grids or “Smart Grid” systems, intelligent transportation systems for traffic management and railway control systems, as well as in process control and manufacturing automation systems used across multiple industrial sectors.
Education & Experience Required !
BE / B.Tech (Electronics & Communication)
3-7 years of pre &/or postsales / technical experience in the Industrial Identification( Machine Vision & RFID) with exposure to Industrial networking / automation.
In-depth understanding of Identification & Locating Technologies eg: Optical Identification (various codes based), RFID (HF/UHF), RTLS etc
Sound experience with various IDENT applications and Use cases
Should have experience with integrating IDENT solutions with various Automation systems.(products of Simatic Ident or Competitor products)
Will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution engineering, product selection, conducting onsite demos & POCs.
Will be working alongside Business Development & sales teams for customer conversion and standardization.
Develop application specific knowledge and tools to share the same with sales regions / other customers
