Technical Specialist, AEM Developer
Responsibilities:
Possess solid understanding and hands on experience on complete software development life cycle
Able to Develop and execute software requirements, designing, coding, enhance and improve the existing architecture/design under minimal supervision
Sound Technical knowledge and leads Investigation and troubleshooting
Actively seeks guidance for prioritization and review of deliverables
Result-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proven approach to problem solving Coordinates with stakeholders:
o Work efforts
o Work item ownership
o Validation / verification of task completion
o Relationships for involved teams / Adobe consultants
o Communication points among teams
o Deadlines and work effort completions
o Impact of met / missed deadlines on deliverables and consumers
Experience: 8-12 years
Background and Skills:
o Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (formerly Adobe CQ5)
o Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and defining CQ5 components and Workflows
o Having strong experience in developing components and templates using Sightly(HTL)
o Deep level understanding of Java language.
o Experience working with and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache, Apache Felix, OSGi, jQuery, AJAX
o Very good Knowledge of Java/J2EE, JSP, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies
o Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment
o Having exposure on writing rules in Dispatcher
o Integrating with third party services
o Experience in Maven and Bamboo is must
o Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML
o Experience with unit testing frameworks, such as JUnit
o Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
o Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment; experience with Agile a strong plus
o Experience with Microsoft VSTS is a plus but not absolutely needed.
o Strong communication skills
o Able to work independently as well as collaborates with team members.
o Provides on-going support to business and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
o Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
