Technology Transformation and Operations Support Manager

The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone to support the JLL Work dynamics team on the effective implementation and management of the APAC regional operations policies, procedures and systems, and to be a change agent and active contributor to show continuous improvement. Through the successful operations platform, the strategic and financial results for APAC locations will be met and also to support the APAC team to meet the strategic plan through the briefing, development, testing, training and implementation phases of Technology.

What this job involves:
Tasks
Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
Gather and organize information on problems or procedures.
Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy.
Review forms and reports and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, identifying problems and improvements
Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program.
Design, evaluate, recommend, and approve changes of forms and reports.

Experienced
Have a Degree in a relevant property related discipline or related field and 15 years’ experience or a combination of formal education and experience in excess of 15 years, 10 of which must be related to aspects of Design/Construction/Project Management in an Operations, Change Management or Technology role. You have expert level understanding of project management tools and how they can be leveraged to optimize workflow. Deep understanding of change management methodology and 5+ years’ experience of delivering business change with measurable outcomes within the APAC region. 5+ years’ experience in defining and delivering technology solutions that solve real business problems. Experience of agile project management and lean six sigma.

Passionate
You have high energy and is passionate about delivering real, sustainable change within the construction and real estate industry. You are an early adopter of technology, reads incessantly, is curious and continuously learning. Speaks the language of technology and data and has a deep understanding of how the two are inter-related.

Leadership & Personal Effectiveness
You set objectives and measurable goals and acts as leadership role model for JLL by behaving consistently with cultural and inclusion requirements. You must be able to coaches and develop staff and provides regular feedback and guidance. You set stretch targets for self and others, and rigorously monitors and manages individual and team performance. Develops and monitors plans for team operations.

Analytical
You have excellent listening and analytical skills, possessing the ability to understand the needs of stakeholders and then deliver solutions that users describe as “making their job easier”. You are highly organized and can convert strategy into action and is somebody who is known for getting things done. You are detailed, readily embraces changes and has effective time management and prioritisation of tasks.

Decision Making & Problem Solving
You must be able to make tough decisions that resolve problems or improve operations and actively searches out improvement opportunities and empowers team to implement them. A problem solver by nature who thinks creatively and sticks with it until resolved.

Data Tools
You are proficient in Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint. Experience in Power BI and tableau will be a distinctive advantage.

Relationship Management
You have experience working in large global organizations with geographically dispersed teams and complex technical environments. You promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates, peers and clients. You are culturally respectful and gains respect of JLL people, clients, and where appropriate with the broader business community. You can manage up and down within JLL and Clients and acts as a motivator in a team.
Communication
You need to regularly communicate plans and performance in a clear and motivational manner to employees. Listens effectively and communicates through actions and example.
