Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Digital Business Automation (DBA) is an integrated IBM platform that helps automate and scale business operations to enhance customer experience, reduce cost, and improve speed and quality of work. DBA incorporates various tools like Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation to deliver end-to-end improved customer journeys. There are five automation capabilities of the platform – Data Capture for unstructured document processing, Robotic Tasks for automating repeated human work, Content Services for collaboration, workflow for human and system tasks orchestration, and Decisions for business rules management.

ADP is born on the cloud cognitive Data Capture solution designed to work with any content or process system. It can digitize, classify, and unstructured index content using OCR and PDF text extraction leveraging Watson / ML and other AI technologies.

As an IBM QA/Test Automation Developer embarking on the best quality of our cloud software leveraging machine learning, AI, and computer vision technologies, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to recommend and develop testing standards and applications of quality technologies. Encourages application development that builds testability from the ground up. Ensures the product is robust and failure scenarios are considered and refactored, collaborates with cross-functional team members on story development, from before definition through final deployment. Performs exploratory testing using industry-leading practices. Discovers defects/bugs and works with coders to determine root causes and prevent similar issues from happening in the future. Drives adoption of test automation – unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Looking for overall 4+ years of testing experience
Strong Python, docker & Kubernetes experience
Familiar with Linux/Unix scripting
Basic knowledge of Ansible or other configuration management tool
Basic knowledge of git and git workflows

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Selenium Automation Framework
An aptitude for statistics and calculating probability
Good understanding of statistical and machine learning tools
Good understanding of mathematical foundations of Machine Learning algorithms
Preference for Computer Vision/ ML academic focus
Knowledge of detection algorithms including Classification, scene understanding, object detection classes of algorithms
Knowledge of ML and AI concept and design
