About The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join our team in Runcorn, Cheshire. The role of Treasury is to process all treasury transactions across the entire PHOENIX UK group and reports to the Treasury and Billing manager.

Comprising of such critical value to our business, this opportunity brings both high levels of responsibility and a real exposure to all aspects of the Treasury department.

If you have a passion for Treasury this opportunity will provide the environment and support to work flexibly and independently with a high degree of autonomy delighting in impeccable levels of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile all company payments, including Accounts Payable vendors, payroll payments, customer’s discounts, VAT payments and all other bona fide company payments as required.

Address any internal or external queries in relation to bank receipts and payments.

Monitor bank account balances and banking movements on a daily basis. Notify the Treasury Supervisor of any suspicious or fraudulent transactions.

Prepare forecasting data of all company cash requirements on a weekly and monthly basis and submit to the Group Treasury reporting system.

Monthly reconciliation of all PHOENIX UK bank accounts

Action inter-company bank transfers

Set up and manage all direct debits and standing orders

Liaise with the bank representatives in order to resolve any issues

Who we want:

Our ideal candidate will bring their SAP experience to their role and have previous experience of managing super high volume and tight deadly deadlines.

This fast paced role would really suit an individual with a great level of enthusiasm for improving the control environment while possessing a real appetite for change looking to make a positive contribution wherever needed.

You will have a higher education qualification e.g. AAT

Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks.

Flexible and able to adapt quickly to change, and in turn be a change agent for the Finance department to help embed a culture of change.

Good commercial and financial knowledge.

Proven experience in transferring money between banks
