Our diverse, cross functional team of technologists share an obsession to create the world’s best TV experience.We are looking for a UI Architect to help us deliver our vision, build fantastic User Interfaces and scalable Cloud Services for our millions of users.*Accountabilities*Design high quality UI architecture, powering a fantastic user experience for our millions of usersDeliver architectural solutions across our teams to address big picture & strategic technical goalsMaintain highly scalable microservices, able to handle billions of requests a dayAn obsessive attention to detail creating amazing User Interfaces and/or Cloud ServicesTake a quality first approach, maintaining our Unit, System & Integration testsMost importantly… have some fun and help us build an appealing engineering cultureWe run a “YouDay” once a sprint. It is a day where you choose what you want to work on. The only parameters are that it will either support you in your learning and development or that it will benefit the business now or in the future.Skills and experience we are looking for: Strong understanding of single page UI application architecture, patterns, principles and librariesExpert in JavaScript & TypeScript with a deep understanding of browser capabilities and limitationsReact or similar UI libraries / frameworksEngineering in resource constrained, embedded environmentsExperience in security design, attack surfacesLeading teams focused on delivering applications at scaleFantastic understanding of AWS or similar public cloud providersStrong communicator and a people person that builds relationships and recognises and incorporates the perspectives of othersHave an insatiable appetite for learning and growth, no matter what your levelComfortable ramping up in unfamiliar code and product areasExcellent problem-solving skills and an eye for system design are a must.
