Job Description : The OpportunityLaunchpad App Development is a leader in Australia’s new technology product development space, our vision is to enable those who believe in creating a better world.As a User Experience Designer, you will champion the UX design of our projects to oversee their successful UX design, delivery, launch and scale through the startup venture lifecycle.We are looking for someone able to understand our client’s requirements and design technical solutions, as well as be responsible for conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.The User Experience Designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.ResponsibilitiesManaging the design systems of the company and projects.Translate product strategy and vision from user stories into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive and class leading user experiences.Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.Champion Service design best practice and create service blueprints/customer journeys.Skills and QualificationsA minimum of 2 years UX design experience or equivalent portfolio of work (Agency experience a bonus).Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that align to the client needs and vision.Most importantly the successful candidate:Is passionate about UX Design, Service Design and building successful startups.Thinks about the business model and how external factors impact the product.Possesses superior interpersonal and communication skillsAbout UsFounded in 2015 and based in Melbourne, Launchpad is a product agency and venture studio growing an exciting and best-in-class team working on some of the most innovative and exciting technology products in Australia.We are team of entrepreneurs, UX/UI designers, product strategists, growth marketers, technologists and developers all hungry to take innovative ideas to market successfully.We’re a crew of 10 in our (dog friendly) Cremorne office and are on the lookout for product, growth and design champions to build successful digital products.We want people that are hungry to make a huge impact both for themselves and our clients and want a fun, supportive and collaborative workplace.Are you ready to make an impact?
