The Role Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Ensuring driving design work and developing new capability to stratify PRA requirements whilst establishing a platform for future scenario capability, Specifically Val 3 part of the ViR process where the end to end requirements are identified, documented (in detail) and then delivered throughout the development and delivery of the new system and process solution inViR.
Business Support
The role supports the ViR team to project manage the delivery of the enhanced process.
Work as part of the Project team to embed the requirements in the current and new systems with necessary controls and governance.
Ensure regular communication of the changes and implications to all teams involved in the process.
Good understanding of the Recover & Resolution process and the implications on the current upstream and downstream processes that will impact the ability to forecast the the entire firms cost base under different scenarios.
Play a lead role in understanding the ViR requirements and defining the process /system requirements that would enable to meet the same.
Work closely with all teams involved to ensure requirements are gathered from all perspectives.
Identify and document (in details) requirements from the new system with a clear vision of the future state.
Financial Controls
Understanding the control requirements for the Finance processes and ensure requirements are captured and embedded in the new system
Team Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness
Work closely with various teams in the Finance and Project space to ensure requirements from the new system are well captured
Adopt blue sky approach and not be limited by current system capabilities

A mature finance professional with relevant experience in financial services industry.
Should have experience in Change Management and relevant experience in projects.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Sound understanding of international accounting standards requirements, business analysis techniques, risk management methodologies, project management techniques.
A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations.
A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of business performance management outcomes.
Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the cost management process.
Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong ability to understand financial statements and its drivers and synthesize them into meaningful analyses as required. Develop analysis & interpretations as required to facilitate management decision making.
Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment.
