Job Description : Main Duties:
Movement of general and recycling waste from chute rooms to waste compound.
Movement of clinical waste from chute rooms to waste compound.
Tagging of clinical waste ensuring it goes through the correct service stream.
Safe use of waste and carboard compactors.
Using the app provided to ensure the start and completion of tasks within the service specification time.
Identify, address, tackle, and resolve waste issues.
Movement of food waste from kitchens to waste compound.
Ensuring high cleanliness standards of the chute rooms.
Reporting damaged equipment to your line manager.
Cover or support all OCS business activities as requested by your line manager.
Full flexibility is required to accommodate the needs of the business, this may include night shifts, weekends, evenings and job requirements.
