The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with experience in developing scalable platforms. We’re looking for someone with experience in frontend development. They must have strong, customer focus and communication skills.Write code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as JavaScript React, TypeScriptLead product developments teamCollaborate with designers, developers and project team on new product developmentsWorking with external customersGather and document product requirements from internal/external customersDefine and communicate technical and design requirementsProvide technical support if neededPlan and prototype new applicationsDesign the architecture of the components of an applicationDecide on the best technologies and languages for the projectDesign and develop web pages, email templatesProblem-solveMaintain and improve existing portals and sitesFix bugs in existing projectsTest sites and applications in different browsers and environmentsTest new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all casesDevelop automated tests to ensure performance of new and existing productsReview colleagues’ and external developer’s codeBuild and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs)Build and maintain databasesLearn new technologies, frameworks and languagesStay up to date with new trends in web developmentThe candidate will have experience or knowledge in: 3+ years’ experience within programmingIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)Strong understanding and knowledge of programming languages such as: JavaScript React, TypeScript or PHPExperience with WordPressExperience developing APIsExperience of development methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall)Experience using issue tracking tools (such as: Jira)Knowledge of a backend programming language and frameworks (PHP)Experience with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience leading a teamJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £43,000.00-£48,000.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveCasual dressCompany eventsCompany pensionCycle to work schemeEmployee discountFlexible scheduleLife insuranceOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceReferral programmeSick payWellness programmesWork from homeSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Front End Developers: 3 years (preferred)JavaScript React, TypeScript or PHP: 2 years (preferred)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)
