Job Description : Excellent opportunity to join our client based in Pershore, Worcestershire that supply an exciting product! Our client is currently recruiting for a permanent Web Merchandiser to plan and implement a digital merchandising strategy across all ecommerce platforms and products, maximise conversion into sales and ensure the web experience meets the customers highest standards

Overview of duties:
In essence the role is help ensure that they have the right products, sold in the right platforms (Website, Amazon, NOTHS, Ebay etc) with a well optimised description, images & suitable price
Review and share trading performance with teams across the business including sales, conversion, average order value, and bounce rate across key areas of the website and app
Review and share market and competitor information
Own and deliver the digital merchandising and on site through all ecommerce platforms
Ensuring all new & exciting product ranged are uploaded in line with agreed timings
Help ensure that products are tailored to maximise any seasonal events
Mange all product listings, photography and content adhere to brand guidelines
Ownership of the internal product bible, which captures all the product details & certification
Driving an increase in sales, conversion and AOV
Creative writing
Maximising the customers shopping experience
Helping to conduct worst seller boot-camps – What can they do better to adjust the products?
Competitor analysis – What can they learn?
Nominating products or themes for email and marketing campaigns based on merchandising performance
Working closely with the Buying, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to manage, plan and execute the trading activity across the businesses
Candidate Attributes:

As a web merchandiser you will have the ability to work quickly and efficiently to drive profit for the business whilst thinking commercially and innovatively.

You will have an exception eye for detail (both creative and content), a key communicator with an excellent brand and customer awareness.

The Ideal Candidate:
Have proven skills and success in a merchandising role
Have experience creating and implementing merchandising processes in a new team
Must have a good understanding of digital merchandising principles and consumer buying behaviour
Be commercially driven and sales orientated
Have good analytical and reporting skills
An exceptional eye for detail (creative, content)
An interest in digital / eCommerce technology and digital trends
Savvy Analytical and problem solving skills
Salary – Up to £30k
Hours – Monday – Friday – 9am – 5.30pm
