We are seeking a Weekend Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic Hendon 24-Hour Hospital.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role to help cover our growing case load at the hospital across the weekends.

This role can be tailor made to suit your needs, offering flexible rotas, working on a every weekend or every-other weekend basis!

It is an excellent opportunity for a vet with 2-3 years small animal experience, who enjoys working with a team in a hospital setting.

The clinic has state of the art MRI and CT, Ultrasound and digital X-ray as well as in house blood machines and state of the art operating theatres and endoscopy. Here you are able to work-up your cases to your full potential with plenty of support if needed.

You will be working with a team of four veterinary surgeons and qualified RVN’s as well as patient care assistants and a reception team to provide excellent care to your patients and their owners.

Salary:

£32,000 – £55,000 (pro rata and depending on experience)

The role
Hendon Hospital is the hub hospital for our Hendon practices in the area.

On a weekend your day will be spent covering either consultations, emergency admissions and patient care, ward patients and any emergency surgeries. Having four vets on site over Saturday and Sunday means each vet takes on a separate role per shift on a rotational basis.

The team are extremely friendly and supportive and further study and career progression is actively encouraged and fully supported. you will have access to certificate holders on site and also VetCT services.
