In this role, you will be part of a dynamic global team whose responsibility is supporting the use and configuration of Workday Project Tracking Module, as well as work in Finance, Time Tracking and other core Workday related functions. You will provide support to both end users and Professional Services and Research & Development team members and perform business analysis, process definition, hands-on configuration, testing, and documentation for Workday enhancements. You will work with key users from different business groups to understand current business processes and business requirements, identify areas that have opportunity to be improved and/or streamlined, and identify and implement systems solutions that meet the business need and are in line with industry best practices. This is a senior level position that will be supporting the Professional Services organization within Cerence. You will be expected to work independently and facilitate partnering with our key business partners including assisting them with managing User Acceptance Testing and creating user documentation when required.

Daily Functions / Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their business processes, prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into systems solutions.
Document as-is and to-be business processes, business requirements and solution functional designs for company’s software platforms.
Perform hands-on configuration, unit testing and end-to-end testing in Workday
Support User Acceptance Testing with business counterparts
Exhibit flexibility in handling multiple tasks in this fast-paced IT environment.
Process support tickets for applications, assist end users with access requests, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and answer system questions
Manage the security and business process admin inbox queues in Workday
Monitor Workday integrations and troubleshoot issues when necessary
Analyze Workday releases to understand impact and manage process for required configuration updates
Perform data analysis to test data accuracy, determine reporting requirements and build Workday reports for end users
Comply with all SOX, GDPR, and other compliance and data privacy requirements.
Requirements:
3 – 5 years of Workday experience
Prior experience doing hands-on configuration in Workday Projects, Time Tracking and/or Project Billing is preferred but not required
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment within the Business Systems group as well as other groups within the IT organization.
Solid problem-solving skills and a strong analytical thought process
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Desire to learn new technologies and work in varying business functional areas
Previous knowledge of PowerBI, HubSpot, SpringCM is a plus but not required.
Basic business understanding of one or more functional areas of the business such as Finance, Sales, Professional Services, Marketing
