The Finance & Admin Business Analyst is essential to the ongoing profitable operations for one of the most globally recognized and respected companies in the world. By overseeing our financial activities, you will enable IBM to continue to bring to market ground-breaking innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure, and Blockchain technologies, to name a few.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Manages and supervises the accounts Receivable tower for US clients.
Manage functions like maintaining the Accounts Receivable, Collections, Dispute management and DSO publishing on day-to-day operations.
Ensures compliance of systems, policies, and procedures as per company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness.
Establish process to achieve accounts receivable and the client requirements
Oversee all receivable transactions such as ACH, wires, paper checks and so on.
Responsible for Billing/invoicing, validation, and processing of various types of invoices, credit memos, collections and refunds.
Monitor status of transactions between company, external vendors and contractors.
Create and Standardize Desktop procedures or SOPs internal templates to be used by the company.
Responsible for SLAs and people management.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
10 or more years of accounting experience
Experience with leadership roles and display problem-solving capabilities.
Basic computer skills with prior experience working with accounting software like SAP, Oracle and People Soft etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors, and customers.
Good analytical and time management skills.
Good presentation skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
10-15 years of relevant experience
Experience in SLA Management and in Quality Management including designing quality framework, sampling methodology etc
Understanding of OLAs, KPIs, Critical Deliverables, Critical Service Levels
Knowledge on Credits Calculation for penalty purposes
Negotiation skills for closing agreements on SEP, Disputes and penalties
