Job Description : Duties & Responsibilities:
Install and configure Trend Micro’s Software and Hardware according to best practices
Perform health checks and validate implementation of Trend Micro’s Software and Hardware
Provides system and networking assessment to very large enterprise prior to the implementation process
Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and beta Trend Micro products
Required Qualifications:
BS degree or combination of: education and pre or post sales experience in Security Software and Systems
Experience/Skills:
Sales Engineering and/or Professional Services experience preferred
Experience with reviewing log files, system logs and network analysis
Experience working with various Microsoft software and systems
Experience generating ad-hoc software tools and utilities using common script or programming languages such as Python, Bash, Windows PowerShell, or Unix/Linux command shells
Experience with various content security products (hardware & software) preferred
Solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting and problem resolution abilities
Self-starter and quick learner with desire to continually learn new tools and technologies
Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients
Candidates with the following skills will be given advanced consideration:
Trend Micro – Deep Discovery, Trend Micro ScanMail for Exchange, Apex One / Central, ServerProtect for Storage & Deep Security
TCP/IP knowledge combine with a strong networking background: Routing, Switching, Edge Firewalls, Load Balancing & LAN/WAN network topologies
Microsoft – Windows, Active Directory, System Center, Exchange, SQL and IIS
Experience with Linux, PostgreSQL
Host Based Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Antivirus, Data Loss Protection, Endpoint Encryption,
E-Mail and Web Gateway Security, e-mail encryption, Penetration Testing, SysLog and SIEM
Desired Certifications:
Trend Micro Certification: Deep Security, Apex-One
CCNA/P – Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professional
VCP – VMware Certified Professional
NSX and AWS – Cloud Practitioner
MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional
MCSE – Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
Linux/Solaris/UNIX System Administration
