Job Description : Infinite Oasis Care is a charity dedicated to caring for older adults. We work closely with people that are isolated to bring them in contact with their community and offer them opportunities to form friendships. It is our duty to value and support their needs to the best of our ability. As a care and support worker, you will be required to work either independently or with another care and support worker. You will build and maintain professional relationships with customers in line with company guidance.What does a care and support worker do?Help service users with everyday tasksParticipate in activities with service usersSupport those who have special needsManage different medical conditions such as dementiaAssist service users, when needed, with eating, toileting and medicationWork within Health and Safety Regulations and company policiesEscort service users to and from the centre via the community busMaintain the cleanliness of the day care centreCare and support worker requirements:Proof of right to work in the UKAlready have DBS or are willing to pay for DBSAvailable for training, if neededProof of address within the last yearGood written and spoken EnglishReliable and trustworthy as working independently is requiredHaving a compassionate and caring personalityCommitted to delivering high-quality careExperience working with and caring for older adultsAll applicants must have the ability to provide care and comfort to the customers. Applicants should be able to demonstrate this through their previous job or any voluntary experiences in healthcare settings or similar. If you have no experience, you will be provided with the necessary training and assistance to prepare you for this role.The Day Care Centre is open Tuesdays – Thursdays so you will only be expected to work on any of those days.
