The team of Novartis specialists within Insights & Analytics are on a data and digital transformation journey, using analytics to generate impactful insights for Novartis medicines impacting more than 500 million patients worldwide. The team is poised to enable easier, faster, and reliable decisions for Novartis divisions across the globe.
Your responsibilities include but not are limited to:
Design, develop and deliver various data science-based insights, outcomes, and innovation (using mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, management science, technology, economics, etc) and build “proof of concepts & blueprints” to drive faster, timely, highly detailed, workable, and proactive decision making based on text data-based insights and science and craft strategic glide path of the company.Develop text-based solutions applying (NLP)Natural Language processing techniques using Python. Facilitate the development of front-end web interfaces to convey insights through dashboards and visualizations.Be involved in technology research, capability building across newer technologies and tools in Machine Learning ecosystem at scale.Design, run and analyze A/B and multivariate hypothesis tests sought at optimizing customer and patient experience. Also, pick up new skills and technologies vital on the jobEloquent solutions/recommendations to business users. Works with senior data science team member to present analytical content concisely and effectively. Develop automation for repeatedly refreshing analysis and generating insightsCollaborate with globally dispersed internal partners and cross-functional teams to solve critical business problems and deliver successfully on high visibility critical initiativesUnderstand life science data sources including sales, contracting, promotions, social media, patient claims and Real-World EvidenceIndependently identifies research articles and reproduce/apply methodology to Novartis business problems. Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and flexibility through effective and innovative leadership. Attention to detail and quality focused, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, innovative, and collaborative behaviors & strong “can-do” orientation

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Experience with Social Media AnalyticsEducation (minimum/desirable): Graduate/ Post GraduateExperience: Experience (2-3 years) in Statistical and Machine LearningText Mining, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques on unstructured data like feature extraction, classification, and clustering, and sentiment analysis,Good command over Python
