Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000- £35,000 dependant on experience

Our client is at an exciting stage of growth and is therefore looking for a talented individual to support their finance function, on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for someone who has experience working within an SME as being flexible, adaptable and building relationships with all departments is key for this role.
Working as the number two in finance you will have full exposure from the day-to-day accounting duties, to supporting with the implementation of new system and processes, and aiding managerial planning and commercial decision making.
Responsibilities include:
Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
Produce month end and year end journals
Support with annual budgeting and forecasting
Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
Support with payroll and HMRC processes
Responsible for the accounts payable and payments runs
Responsible for the accounts receivable and debtors
Complete VAT returns
Ad hoc office duties when required
The ideal candidate will be QBE or part qualified (or working towards), must have experience working within an SME business in a similar role and have excellent attention to detail.
