Job Description : The Role
The Associate IDT Application Portfolio Analyst is responsible to support the IDT Managers and Product Manager with managing the lifecycle of the Product or the portfolio of applications, where the portfolio is of such as size that it requires additional support. The Associate IDT Application Portfolio Analyst will also support the IDT managers and Product Managers with managing the funnel of demand and maintain data accuracy in ServiceNow. The role closely collaborates with the Strategy & Planning manager and the Project Management Office.

Where you fit in
Corporate IT is a Business Interface team supporting a broad range of Shell’s Corporate functions (External & Government Relations, Internal Communications, Real Estate & Corporate Security, Health, Travel or Aircraft), with an annual investment spend of ~USD 30M.
You will be reporting to the Lead IDT Advisor for Corporate and be part of a team of around 6 IDT Advisors and 2 Portfolio Analysts.
You will have a chance to explore other areas of IT and IRM, ranging from Financial Planning to aspects of Shell’s IRM Control Framework and management of the Lightly Managed Applications estate within Corporate.
You will be building a sound understanding of Demand Management, Financial Planning and Portfolio management.
The Role
Provide support to the Product Manager or IDT Manager with managing corresponding lifecycles.
Ensure data integrity and quality of the product/portfolio in the relevant IT management systems.
Support maintaining the demand funnel for the product/portfolio.
Maintain the integrated plan/roadmap (0-3 years) for the product/portfolio.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to help identify key events or decision points for the product/portfolio (i.e. major upgrades, architecture drivers, end of life, contract extensions, etc.).
Support and perform project initiation activities.
Provide regular and ad hoc data and reports on the product/portfolio to stakeholders, using ServiceNow and BI reporting capabilities.
Drive adherence to KPI metrics for ServiceNow data accuracy.
Support Strategy & Planning manager to drive S&P related topics into the products/portfolios
Supporting and facilitating product/portfolio reviews and other delivery related meetings.
What we need from You
2+ years of experience in IT with at least 1 year of business analysis experience.
Data Fluent: Uses data consistently to generate insights into the portfolio and supporting KPIs. Seeks opportunities to upskill in tools such as ServiceNow reporting/dashboarding and PowerBI.
Solution oriented: Likes to take on challenges and creatively solve problems, keeping the end goal in mind.
Collaboration: uses strong collaboration skills to interact with a wide range of stakeholders both within IT as well as the business
Learner Mindset: Is willing to explore new tools and solution in support of the portfolio management activities and is eager to learn about activities outside of the direct responsibilities.
Demand Management: Experience with Portfolio Management/Demand Management/Resource Management in general or specifically in ServiceNow is a pre.
