Department Overview

Information and Cyber Security (ICS) is part of Wells Fargo’s Technology organization. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, ICS protects our infrastructure, company data, and customer assets while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and laws.

About Role:

Information Protection Engineering (IPE) strategy is to provide a common and reusable suite of authentication and encryption services and methodologies to internal partners and external Wells Fargo customers. IPE is part of Wells Fargo’s Information and Cyber Security (ICS) organization. Within IPE, the Encryption Tools & Engineering (ETE) Development team is responsible for development/programming for in-house cryptographic applications and tools. The ETE Development team has an Information Security Engineer position available and the selected candidate will join a diverse, motivated and experienced team.

Responsibilities:
Works closely with the IPE managers to understand the scope of automation
Provides valuable automation consulting on medium/long term projects for internal clients to plan a roadmap
Leads incident response activities for risks raising from automation and maintain the repository of changed logic in the scripts/code.
Reviews and correlates security logs.
Possesses subject matter expertise in industry leading security solutions and best practices used to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification/modeling/monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity.
May interface with senior management.
Essential Qualifications:
Overall 3+ years of information technology or security applications and systems experience.
3+ years of SDLC experience with two of those years required experience with Agile: Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevOPS
3+ years of Python, RPA,VB script, Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting
3+ years of information technology applications and systems experience.
1+ years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
1+ year of experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, Github and artifactory.
Strong practical knowledge on data modelling and analysis methodologies.
Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
Desired Qualifications:
Information Security technical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Information Security-related certification
