As a Health Care Assistant, you will be supporting the clinical staff in the provision of safe effective care to meet the needs of patients and their families. As part of your role, you will be assisting with maintaining high standards of quality care, patient safety and cleanliness of the wards. You will ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and equipment is stored safely.
The PRUH Stroke unit is one of the eight regional Stroke Centres in London, and it is an integrated 40 bed unit, with 14 Hyper Acute Stroke beds and 26 Acute Rehabilitation beds.
