We are currently seeking a Big Data Sr Developer (Spark/Scala/Hive) to join our team in NOIDA/Bangalore, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Big Data Sr Developer (Spark/Scala/Hive)
Day to Day job Duties:
Will be responsible for writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable codeHadoop development, implementation and supportLoading from disparate data setsDesigning, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop on Hortonworks and EMRTranslate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed designPerform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insightsMaintain security and data privacyPropose best practices/standards
Basic Qualifications:
2-3 years of hands-on Scala experience2-3 years of hands-on Spark experience2-3 years of hands-on experience in Hadoop programming1-2 years of hands-on experience ow working in AWS cloud & EMRGood Knowledge of workflow/schedulers like OozieGood knowledge in back-end programming, specifically java, JS, Node.js and OOADWriting high-performance, reliable and maintainable code.Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.Good understanding of Hadoop Architecture and Elastic Map Reduce (EMR)Familiarity with Kafka, Nifi, AWSFamiliarity with data loading tools like Talend, Flume, SqoopAnalytical and problem solving skills, applied to Big Data domainProven understanding with Hadoop, HBase, Hive, HDFSGood aptitude in multi-threading and concurrency concepts
Desired:
Experience with Hospitality Industry preferred
