Job Description : About the Role
As our Brand Strategy Manager, you’ll be an instrumental cog in the GoPayLater Go-To-Market team, piloting the platform’s brand narrative and go-to-market strategy. Strategizing, planning, and implementing brand campaigns will be your daily tasks, which include developing objective-driven communications and integrated campaign activation ideas across all marketing channels. You need to be able to see from helicopter perspectives yet grounded as you will be the center of brand-equity building campaign orchestration that will involve other business units, data teams, media teams, creative teams, and corporate affair teams.
What You Will Do
Act as the voice of the customer and advise the team in organizing communication around the customer’s needs; this includes conducting consumer and market research to produce brand-driving insights and to apply insights to other initiatives
Set the brand narrative, brand building strategy, and clear positioning against competitors that aligns with the product’s target market, values, and mission
Responsible to build GoPayLater’s brand equity to be the trusted and Top of Mind brand in the category
Drive scalable, cost-efficient, and out-of-the-box marketing programs and initiatives to support Brand’s OKR with the ability to make sound business decisions under minimal guidance
Proactively collaborate across functions & streams (i.e. Corporate Affair, Creative Labs, Media Labs, Research, Business Intelligence, Social Media, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Product Manager) on end-to-end campaign planning, execution, monitoring, and reports
Recommend the most effective channels to reach users; drive effective marketing assets and contents across Paid, Organic, Brand, Content and Creative
Build strong relationships within own-team, cross-functional, and external stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and balance competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment
Proactively seeks out opportunities to improve processes, solve new challenges with direct work, team or cross-functionally
What You Will Need
Strong experience and proven track record of brand building, growing, and shaping marketing strategy; at least 4 years of experience marketing with a focus on Brand management and end-to-end marketing
A strategic thinker with a proven record of working with complex organizations and intense cross collaborations (interpersonal skill is required)
Strong project management and ability to manage multiple campaigns with eyes on details without losing sight of the big picture, and are able to distill complex plans into clear and actionable tasks
Proficient and experienced in dealing with Media partners, Creative agencies, Social Listening, and partnerships
Passionate about understanding your market, customers, and competition better than anyone, and you’re strong at integrating this information into your marketing strategies
Passionate about building a brand by creating genuine and authentic customer relationships
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa and English
Having data analytic skills and a vast understanding of digital marketing is preferable

This role will be part of the Consumer Lending Platform team within the GoTo Financial Services Platform.
