The Opportunity:
In this Business Development role, you will be working alongside an experienced team of experts within the Credit Solutions team, working to build and manage a sales pipeline. You will be working closely with the Aon client-facing brokers and exploring opportunities within their portfolios as well as pursuing opportunities outside of Aon.
Key responsibilities will include:
Originating new prospects through internal and external channels
Engagement with Aon subject matter experts and Client Relationship Manager teams to deliver best-in-class solutions
Developing and maintaining the new business pipeline and delivering against budgeted revenue
Building relationships and working closely with your colleagues on appropriately identified opportunities
Driving thought leadership, innovation and the Aon brand with clients and prospects
Building prospect acquisition strategies with other sales colleagues across Aon
About you:
This position will suit someone with the following experience:
Experience across Credit either from credit insurance, mercantile, collections agency, IT or professional services including legal would be highly desirable
Prior insurance exposure isn’t mandatory so long has one has ability and credibility to engage with C-Suite executives and other decision-makers backed with polished presentation skills
Highly self-motivated and able to take ownership and accountability for development and execution of the sales pipeline
Proven track record in new business growth, high degree of resilience and an outcome-focused approach supported by your ability to effectively communicate to a senior audience
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
