The role of Business Development representative
As ekar Business Development representative you will be responsible for recruiting, developing and retaining vehicle partner suppliers (car rental & leasing companies, automotive dealerships, OEMs) and for targeting B2B clients from a defined target audience.
We are looking for a candidate with more than 3 years of proven Business Development experience with supplier relationships and building customer business.
You will act as the lead to ensure in particular that vehicle supply partners are recruited, trained, and retained providing enough inventory (vessels) for ekar to fulfil our customer requirements for vehicle volumes and model variety. This requires a pro – active approach and intellectual curiosity, coupled with strong organizational skills and relationship skills with clients both face – to – face and via email and phone.
Job Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Contact high potential vehicle supply partners to gain access to their vehicle inventory for ekar customers
Ensure accurate and timely on – boarding of the vehicle partners, including contract negotiation, and signing, vehicle pricing and data, system training
Regular ongoing communication with partners to ensure maximum availability of competitively priced vehicles are made available, updating inventory status on a regular basis
Visiting vehicle supply customers to understand pain – points in their processes and in ekar and customer to continuously improve the Car Subscription experience
Reviewing of customer and supplier requirements and Providing feedback ekar management and IT for improvements
Communicate efficiency with partners through various communication methods including meetings, phone, email, messaging, and webinars
Train and inform partners on our technologies, tools, and models
Prioritize daily tasks, monitor results and track progress in intern systems
improve team operational processes and manage supporting resources
Develop an inside sales program to attract and retain B2B corporate sales customers who will use the ekar car Subscription services
Support implementation and adoption of the new CRM package
Prioritize daily tasks, monitor results and track progress in internal systems
Monitor supplier and competitive environment, providing regular feedback to management
Acting as a primary point of contact for vehicle supply partners
Resolving problems escalated from the customer service department and concerning Vehicle supply partners or B2B customers
Supporting ekar for online and APP reviews as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Business Development role, Sales.
Proven track record in using data in an analytical and structured manner to drive achievements and make decisions
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and in a highly dynamic environment
Open to change in responsibilities, workflows, as needed by the business.
Confident and dynamic personality
Strong creative outlook
Clean, valid driver’s license
Arabic / English fluent
