We are looking for an experienced, reliable and dedicated Care Support Worker to work within the Heanor area.

You will be working in a 16-bedroom single-level building which provides a welcoming, clean and comfortable environment for both male and female service users. The facilities are designed to promote recovery and increased independence.

In this role, you will be supporting service users with mental health illnesses. Your duties will be assisting service users with daily living, including aspects of personal care and promoting independence. You will encourage service users to participate in daily activities, complete paperwork, follow tailored care plans and administer medication.

Experience & Qualifications
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
In-date medication training is preferred for this role but not essential.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
