Job Description : Consumer & Community Banking Architecture, Data and Engineering is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join the Architecture Governance team to support the automated governance initiatives. As an experienced member of our team, your passion for technology and thirst for innovation will help shape the future of New Banking Architecture now and for years to come.
Every day, you’ll bring critical day-to-day leadership and thinking to the table, working with architects across CCB to drive standardization of technology architecture, improve architecture governance and controls. You will be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. You’ll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment – one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions. You Will:

Be a member of a scrum team helping to create next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run.
Dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that make a difference for our customers, clients, and employees.
Create and improve the design, analytics, coding and testing for high-quality software and new products.
Work and share ideas, information, and innovation with our team of technologists from all over the world.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Strong implementation skills with Java and J2EE; Core Spring Framework and including other sub-projects like Spring Security and Spring Integration.
Experience with REST API and JSON API.
Experience using mainstream software test, development tools/applications (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Splunk, etc.)
Knowledge of JavaScript and contemporary JavaScript APIs such as ReactiveJS, JQuery, and/or Angular.
Solid understanding of development using SCRUM and Agile practices
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
