Job Description : Required skills:
Degree – preferably in IT/Engineering, Master/Bachelors in Science or any other related disciplines
5-6 years of overall experience as individual contributor as well as team player working successfully in a technical role with business users or end users
At least 1-2 years of Appian / any BPM Tool experience
Experience in successful software delivery / development / end to end life cycle management
Experience with configuration, deployment and testing of enterprise software applications
Strong problem solving and design skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Flexible, Adaptable and Resilient
Ability to explore new avenues
Experience as a Developer / Analyst with Appian or any other BPM tool
Experience with any scripting language – JAVASCRIPT / Python / VBA / Pearl
Experience with SQL Server – DB design, Writing SQL queries and stored procs
Good knowledge of BPM Fundamentals, Technical Features, Designer Features, Configurations in Appian etc
Proficiency in working on various Appian components, i.e., SAIL interface, Process Model, Records, Reports, Rules, Security, Smart Services, etc.
Experience in designing and developing integrations with 3rd party system. Must be expert in integration, connected systems, Web APIs, FTP, JMS and other web integration technologies
Constructs conceptual application architecture including records, reports, and news feeds
Designs conceptual workflows and related actions
Experience in understanding solution design
Translate the functional requirement to the Appian business flows with the help of Process Models, Rules, CDTs , Web service Integration
Experience in eliciting requirements
Experience with unit testing
Experience using any collaboration / knowledge management tools like SharePoint/Confluence
Ability to Plan, Multi-task and Prioritize
Working knowledge in application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concepts
Responsibilities:
Build applications / workflows of highest quality using Appian
Be cognizant of cost and schedule implications
Support Appian Lead Developer in Common Component development
Recommend and Develop Common Component development, integrations, and configurations
Drive best practices, design, development, testing, implementation and application reviews
Assists in translating business requirements to technical designs and specifications
Respond to queries raised by business and other members of Community of Practice(COP)
Actively participate in project meetings and discussions
Weekly, monthly and quarterly status reporting to relevant stakeholders
Project documentation
Timely escalations and issue management
Manage Stakeholders
Collaborate within and outside teams as required
Perform other ad-hoc tasks or duties as assigned by reporting manager
Define coding best practices and standards and educate other on these practices
Comply to the organization norms, ethics and values
Good To Have:
Experience with Agile / Scrum
Exposure to Agile tools – Jira / Trello etc.
Exposure to Testing frameworks / automated testing
Exposure to DevOps / CICD
Experience in any ETL (SSIS / Talend etc.) & Reporting Tool (Tableau, SSRS Crystal etc.)
Experience in programming using JAVA / Dot Net
Background in user experience, UI design, or HCI
Experience working with on- and off-shore team members
