As a front-end engineer in NITRO, you will be in the thick of things! You will work on the most difficult & fun phases of technology innovation:
Have fun experimenting with emerging technology, participating in hackathons etc;
Participate in ideating, innovating and incubating ideas to life
Work closely together with mainstream engineering functions to ensure prototypes/MVPs can form the basis for production solutions
Have Strong tolerance for ambiguity
Quick learner with “can do” attitude
Your key responsibilities
Be very strong in data structures, problem solving, building to scale by leveraging cloud computing
Handle ambiguity and able to move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a rapidly changing environment
Must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are challenged
Takes pride in producing clean, re-usable code and takes full ownership of the quality of code
Skills and attributes for success
Experience in front-end / UI technologies including frameworks such as React/Angular/Backbone/Bootstrap/Node. Proficiency in Mobile/Responsive UIs is very much required.
Exposure to latest front-end technologies will be an added advantage.
Coordinate with product design, management and engineering to integrate and prototype designs.
Update on platform capabilities and conventional design and engineering.
Execute features in a well document, robust and readable manner.
Assess graphics, UI and multimedia technologies and components to meet product requirements.
Design and document significant software modules.
Suggest on design and layout for better advantage of technologies.
Make HTML, CSS and JavaScript to work well across browser platforms.
Function as front-end technical expert.
Create UI coding standards and implement by teams and organizations.
Optimize CSS, JavaScript and UI code for best performance.
To qualify for the role, you must have
6-9 years of overall experience in front end application development in product organizations
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or related field from a top tier engineering institution
Experience in coordinating/ collaborating with multi-geo and multi-cultural teams
“Get-it-done” mentality
Experience in front-end / UI technologies including frameworks such as React/Angular/Backbone/Bootstrap/Node. Proficiency in Mobile/Responsive UIs is very much required.
