SUMMARY: In the SAP Innovation Center Network (ICN) we shape the next generation of enterprise software by exploring new technologies and developing bold prototypes. THE ROLE: You will..
do the architecture, design, development, incubation and early adoption of new, transformative technologies that could represent massive disruptions to or significant unlocks for SAP.translates business strategy into technical and architecture strategy taking market trends and emerging technologies into consideration.research and design on the fundamentals of new technologies.build robust, scalable software solutions, focusing on openness for extensibility and ease of integration to existing SAP products.work with universities, research institutions, industry and Line of Business to identify and solve research problems.be the go to person for technical solutions in the company.
ROLE REQUIREMENT
BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.10 years of relevant work experience.Proven track record with architecting, designing and executing engineering. projects that transfer disruptive technology to innovative products.Experience in cloud native development, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Virtualization and serverless based scalable architectures, containers/docker.Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, J2EE, Web Services) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React).Familiarity with databases (e.g. HANA, PostgreSQL, Cassandra etc), web servers (e.g. Apache), Application Servers (e.g. JBoss) and UI/UX design.Familiarity with common stacks knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML5/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
