Responsibilities :
The Big Data & Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for design, development, configuration, testing and maintenance of existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements.Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, AWS coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies.Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are HPE end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Order Management, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Sales, etc.Establishes and manages cross-functional, cross-regional design and implementation of end-to-end supply chain capabilities, AWS cloud design and architecture strategies. This includes defining short term & long-term supply chain strategic tool architecture, at the global and regional. . Partners cross-functionally and worldwide to develop, track and manage business critical data needs from SAP Hana S4, Integrated Business Planning tool and Fusion, that includes reporting, key performance indicators and visualizations for the organization. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives for supply chain, respective HPE landing server, AWS architecture design, UI, among othersWorks on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, using Advance Analytics techniques. Provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.Facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree or Master degree preferred.Minimum of 8yr years of experience.
Must Have Skills:
Cloud (AWS) , Designing REST APIs , AWS Lambda, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS Cloud Trail ,AWS Cloud WatchLanguages (Any supported by AWS Lambda: Java, Angular, Python, Node.js, C#/.Net Core 3.1)AWS, DevOps, CI/CD , DevOps (Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) Design & ArchitectureHadoop/Hive, Python/Spark/Scala, DeltaLake, Oozie, Presto/ImpalaDemonstrated experience for coding in VBA and VB Script; in addition to writing SQL queries in a SQL Management Studio or similar softwareProven advanced Java development – Machine learning. Python, Advanced JavaScript framework, Hadoop/Big Data, data base handlingS3, EC2, Redshift, Glacier, AWS Glue, Cloud Front, Elastic Beanstalk, Aurora DB ReactJS, SpringBootGood understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.Extensive knowledge of high-level modeling tools.Strong experience on maintaining & developing custom reporting solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Excellent interpersonal skills. This position will require working with teams around the world with early morning & late evening work hours.
